This was meant to be a special experience on a memorable trip to celebrate my 70th birthday and my husband’s and my 10th anniversary. I need to emphasize that in no way were we disappointed in our driver/guide. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The problem was that the vehicle for a 6 hour tour on a hot and humid day was too small for the four of us plus the driver. We are all tall individuals. “It was really good. The guide was charming, considerate, a careful driver and took us where I asked. He selected the perfect lunch restaurant for us near Takamaka. We went to lots of viewpoints and visited the gallery I wanted to see. As he said, he was not a qualified guide so his in depth knowledge of social, political and cultural was limited but we certainly benefitted from his considered and personal perspectives on current Seychelles life.
