“It was the perfect experience from start to finish! The snorkeling was magic, even though the reef is dead, there are still plenty types of fishes to see. We did two snorkeling sessions, one near Anse Lazio and one at St. Pierre Island. We also saw and swam at Anse Georgette. This was meant to be a special experience on a memorable trip to celebrate my 70th birthday and my husband’s and my 10th anniversary. I need to emphasize that in no way were we disappointed in our driver/guide. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. The problem was that the vehicle for a 6 hour tour on a hot and humid day was too small for the four of us plus the driver. We are all tall individuals. “This was a perfect laid back day. Pickup was around 9am and I was back at my hotel around 5:30pm, so not a very long day. Each stop was well timed and nothing felt rushed. Lunch included very good options and it was a calm day at sea. It was cool to see the tortoises in their natural habitat and get history of the island.”
